Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnic (JEEP) is a state level entrance test conducted by the Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education (UBTE), Roorkee on an annual basis for the admission of students in various polytechnic diploma programs offered in different affiliated polytechnic institutes of the state.
JEEP is also known as UK Polytechnic. For admission to academic session 2022, JEEP was conducted on 26th June across all the districts. The result for the same was published on 1st July. UK Polytechnic JEEP Merit/ Rank List 2022
Along with the JEEP result, Board will publish the merit/ rank list of the candidates. UK Polytechnic Merit list 2022 will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained and overall performance of the candidate in the entrance test. Rank list will also be published on official website along with the result. It is advised to all the candidates to retain their admit card and result till the completion of admission procedure.
The order of the merit of the candidates will
be decided only on the basis of marks of candidates. In case of tie between the
marks of two or more participants, the following criteria will be used to
determine the inter-se-merit of the candidates-
- On the basis of the date of birth of the candidates.
- If a tie still persists then merit will be decided on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in subjects- Mathematics, Science/Chemistry, and Biology.
- In case tie still persist, then the merit order of these candidates will be determined by the
Secretary,
Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education.
UBTER JEEP Counselling 2022
The declaration of result and merit list will be followed by the conduct of the counseling procedure. JEEP UK 2022 counselling will be conducted in online mode. Successful candidates on the basis of their order of merit and rank in the entrance test will be invited. These candidates have to register online and complete all the formalities online as it will be computerized counseling. Only eligible candidates will be able to join this admission process.
Counselling Schedule and other details will be communicated to all the candidates through official website and publication on local newspaper dailies. Apart from this no separate call letter or other intimation will be sent to any candidate for counselling. Candidates who will be participating in the counseling should keep all the required certificates ready with them. After considering all the factors and completing all the formalities, candidates will be allotted polytechnic program and institutions in the state.
